Ohuira Bay in Topolobampo provides food, jobs, and life for our communities — and today, it is under threat.
Read the report to learn more.
DownloadThe bay is threatened by foreign fossil gas projects: the GPO ammonia plant, the Vista Pacífico project and a methanol plant, Mexinol.
Their infrastructure and massive vessels would directly harm shrimp fishing, mangroves and the health of local communities.
These projects would pollute our air and water through the use of hazardous chemicals.
In Texas and Louisiana, similar projects have destroyed shrimp fisheries.
